Overall students did very well, improving in writing structure, as well as, vocabulary and expression. It was pleasing that generally students increased in their scores. However pleasing the results, I must reflect on credibility of testing - rubric vs. genre - before unrolling the unit again into this years' class. Also, it is an effective unit in highlighting the need to teach editing strategies.
